This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application and related services. The app is used by schools to manage student information. Student data is processed on behalf of the school and in accordance with applicable education and privacy laws (including those that protect children). Parents and guardians can exercise rights on behalf of their children through the school or via the app where the school has enabled such features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children outside of the school context; if you believe we have done so, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Gurukul 360 may be used by or directed at children (e.g. students) in the context of school use. Our app may use or link to third-party services (e.g. Firebase for authentication and data storage, payment gateways for fee payments). Those services have their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them. We choose partners that we believe uphold strong privacy and security standards, but we are not responsible for their practices.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our or our service providers’ servers are located. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (e.g. contracts, standard contractual clauses) are in place where required by law for such transfers.

If you enable push notifications, we use your device token to deliver messages configured by your school (e.g. fee reminders, announcements). You can disable push notifications in your device or app settings at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the last updated date at the top. For material changes, we may notify you via the app or email where appropriate. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
